Hugs 1st - find us in the Alcove LongHouse. ▪︎SignIn & Sign/Renew Waivers ▪︎Get your tent/camp set up, ▪︎Park vehicles behind barn ▪︎Settle in for a relaxing evening with Friends and Family of Our Hearts. ■☆Saturday - 15 Minutes of Motivation & other activities ■☆Sunday Morning & Afternoon - finish up projects, go fishing, walk in the Back 20 Acres.... Chill with Nature. ■☆Sunday 6pm ByeNow! See You Next Time - Hugs & Pack it Out. *Please Take Trash & Plastic/Glass Recycling ----- The Alcove has 42 acres to roam around for quiet time and backwoods walks with friends. Come on out! Our cabins are already reserved but we have plenty of tent space and RV parking for DryDocking.
Alchemy's Alcove Gatherings are off-grid camping experiences. We encourage Self Responsibility. Bring 'Everything' you need to sustain yourselves for the weekend including Tents, bedding, coolers w/ice, food, beverages, snacks, medications, fully charged power banks for electronics, etc.

☆Other Amenities ▪︎The LongHouse has plenty of seating on our three comfy futon couches & six chairs surrounding Two WoodBurning stoves. We'll put the walls up and make hot chocolate if it gets too chilly so we can stay nice and warm, inside and out!

We have most of the basics, if you require special cookware for your foods - please bring it. There is a four burner propane stove w/oven, charcoal & propane grills & a smoker for your use. ▪︎Additional Dining Tables in the Courtyard east of the LongHouse ▪︎ LongHouse Beverage Area has a two burner propane stove. •Hot Coffee & Herbal Teas - coffee, teas, creamer & sugar are provided •Potable Drinking Water from all of the faucets. •Bring other refreshing Beverages/Snacks for yourselves and/or to share. ▪︎Bring Your Own Ice & Cooler for your own food & drinks. ▪︎Please bring your own plates, bowls, silverware, mugs, cups, etc. ▪︎Dishwashing Station - with Hot Water - will be available. If you use it - Please Wash it. If you see it - Please Wash it.

Thank You All for the Love, Energy, Blood & Sweat Given Freely to Our Alcove! ▪︎Wood Harvesting thru the Alcove Woodlot Management Project is done on an ongoing basis – your assistance is appreciated. We are clearing mesquites and recovering dead oak for our building and firewood needs. ▪︎ Back20 Acres •Sulfer Sock - is in the LongHouse for dusting your shoes, socks & lower pant legs to Repel Ticks •Hiking - Bring sturdy shoes/boots and appropriate clothing if you plan on going thru the gate and taking a walk in nature on the backside of the property. Be aware that this is a natural wildlife area – you are their guest. There is an intermittent creek with really cool rocks and pebbles to the east. Stay within Alcove Boundaries – do not cross fences or go thru any gates other than the one by the Alcove Family Kitchen to Lillie’s Pond. •Fishing -Catch&Release We have bass, catfish & perch waiting for your hook. Bring your fishing gear if you have it. There are plenty of grasshoppers and worms if you wish to gather your own bait. Ongoing Texas Drought & low water levels: Catch & Release Only at this time. •No Hunting - the Alcove is Sanctuary to many, including the deer. ◇Exception: If you have experienced & are interested in scheduling a Hog Hunt - let's talk. ▪︎ Drumming Friday and Saturday Evenings at the Family Fire. Bring Your Drums & Other Musical Instruments. ▪︎ Spinning & Dancing Under the Stars – Bring your own equipment, Practice Poi & Glow Sticks Available for Use.
